Overview

My research interests encompass a wide range of topics related to the formation and evolution of galaxies.  I use a variety of observational tools and techniques to study galaxies both near and far for clues on their cosmic origins and the evolutionary processes that have shaped them along the way.  I am especially interested in the importance of energetic feedback from active galactic nuclei in shaping the properties of their host galaxies over time.  To learn more about my research, click on one of the press release images below.
