Kristina Nyland
Astronomer
Welcome!
I'm a staff radio astronomer in the Remote Sensing Division at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC. I use radio telescopes from around the world, as well as multi-wavelength data from large extragalactic surveys, to study galaxies both near and far to learn more about their formation and evolution. I am especially interested in the connection between galaxy evolution and energetic feedback from massive black holes, and how that connection has changed over cosmic time.
